AFM training sessions
We organise training sessions to make new users sufficiently familiar with an AFM to safely characterise surfaces on one or more of our AFMs. These training sessions are meant for potential users, who are part of a research group at University College London, Imperial College, Birkbeck and King's College London and who do not have sufficient skills to work independently on the Bruker Dimension or Multimode 8 series, or the JPK Nanowizard or CellHesion series of AFMs. The programme includes several self-training sessions on our microscopes.
Next training session - to be announced
Registration - OPEN
Interested Applicants should register their interest for the training by email, mentioning the responsible Principal Investigator and briefly (maximum 200 words) describing the type AFM usage - sample, environment - foreseen in the near future. If known, also specify the AFM (Dimension, Multimode, Nanowizard, CellHesion) preferred for this usage. Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to attend a LCN Health and Safety Induction in order to obtain building access. In case of oversubscription, participants will be selected according to the proposed usage and priority will be given to LCN members. Further information will be provided by email and published on this web-site.
