The LCN offers access to a wide range of scientific equipment at three of the UK's leading academic institutions: UCL, Imperial College London and King's College London. LCN researchers are experts in modelling, design, fabrication and characterisation on the nano-scale.
Research Services in Central London
The LCN Bloomsbury site has 255 square metres of ISO 14644-1 Class 6 (Class 1000) cleanroom housing the majority of the equipment including Electron Beam Lithography and a facility which houses three Focused Ion Beam (FIB) tools. There is also a Back End Laboratory for processes such as sawing, scribing & wirebonding. Cleanroom space, equipment and services are available to external academic and industrial users.
