The Joint LCN ED&I Board
We are committed to working proactively to embed equality and diversity practices across the LCN, and have recently established a dedicated Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) Board across the LCN Partnership. The joint Board, consisting of members from across the 3 institutes, focuses on identifying and implementing ways to improve the LCN culture. The Joint LCN Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Board will meet for the first time in November 2020 and will be Chaired initially by Professor Sandrine Heutz.
The LCN @ UCL
At UCL, the LCN department Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee is responsible for developing, and implementing an action plan to improve our working environment and culture. This builds on work started by the Athena SWAN Self-Assessment Team (SAT), whose work in this area resulted in the LCN at UCL’s Athena SWAN Bronze Award. A Co-Chair of the committee is also a member of the Faculty level Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Board, at UCL, and the LCN Joint Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Board.
