LCN 2013 SET Awards Finalist

Joe Smith, a 3rd year MEng Student in Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology, under the supervision of Professor Richard Jackman, has reached the final of the 2013 SET Awards.

The SET Awards (Science, Engineering and Technology Student of the Year) are Europe’s most important awards for science and technology undergraduates.

Joe was one of three students to have been shortlisted in the Electronic Engineering category with his project “Nano-onion necklaces and graphene flake decorated polyaniline: biodegradable nanowires for regenerative medicine".
