
X-ray and neutron scattering are non-destructive experimental techniques that reveal information about the structure and properties of a material: they are two of the most powerful tools for characterizing materials. This technique is based on observing the scattered intensity of an X-ray beam or free neutrons hitting the atoms of a material.
