Lab Safety at a Glance

The LCN Safety Officer (acting) is Mr. Kevin Lee. In his absence please contact Dr Takashi Matsuura or for soft matter labs Dr Steve Nesbitt.

Safety responsibility is organised in a layer system as per the image to the right. Principal Investigators (PIs) are responsible for safety in their own labs. Some labs have a lab manager who carries day-to-day safety duties on behalf of the PI. The LCN administrative layer is provided by the LCN safety officer (acting), Mr Kevin Lee.
