Open day for prospective PhD students21 February 2007The London Centre for Nanotechnology, LCN, is a new UK based multi-disciplinary enterprise operating at the forefront of science and technology. Research within LCN encompasses a wide range of subjects including quantum computing, bio-nanotechnology, materials modelling, novel electronic devices, superconductivity, quantum and bio- magnetism, nanoscaleimaging, nanofluids, energy and the environment, nanomaterials fabrication and processing, strongly correlated electron systems, etc. Final year students in Physics, Chemistry, Medicine and Engineering are invited to attend an open day for prospective Ph.D. students on 21 February 2007. Those interested in attending should register as soon as possible by e-mail (d.ottley@ucl.ac.uk). Please include details of your current area of study. Please note that you will need to register and receive confirmation that you are invited to the Open Day. as there is limited capacity. Confirmation will be emailed and will contain details of the programme which starts at 10:30 AM. |
