The London Centre for Nanotechnology and the UKRI Chapter of the IEEE Magnetics Society are running an afternoon workshop on 'Nanomagnetism'.
Keynote Speaker: Prof. Sara Majetich (IEEE Magnetics Society 'Distinguished Lecturer' 2007, Dept of Physics Carnegie Mellon)
Will present a lecture covering a selection from themes of:
- Gold-coated magnetic nanoparticles for plasmonic imaging
- Magnetic imaging (electron holography, Lorentz TEM movies)
- Patterned recording media using nanoparticle arrays
